About me
I’m a library and information professional with over 17 years of experience across both public and academic libraries. I’m currently serving as a Collections Management Associate at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a role I began in November 2023. Before that, I spent more than a decade as a Library Assistant at the Birmingham Public Library, where I supervised staff, supported patrons with a wide range of needs, and developed creative, engaging library programs.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from UAB and completed my Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Alabama in May 2024. I’m passionate about connecting people with information and finding meaningful, innovative ways to support learning across different library spaces.
